Grape varieties similar to those of Vino Nobile (Prugnolo, Canaiolo and Mammolo), to which small percentages of white grapes may be added. COLOUR: Bright ruby. BOUQUET: Intense, grapey and flowery. TASTE: Dry, fruity, slightly tannic. Released for sale the year following the harvest, after 6/8 months' ageing in oak barrels. To be drunk all through the meal, but in particular with pasta and meat sauce, and red and white meats. Alcoholic strength 12.5°. Drinking temperature 16/18°C.In 75 cl. Bordeaux bottles. |
